Our Members Margarita Fernández Pascual and María José Hidalgo won at the Spanish Senior Champinship played at Atalaya fro the 11th to the 13th of May.
Margarita scored 196 shots to win the Scratch championship y fourth category, and Maria José with 214 shots finnished in fisrt position in handicap in second category.

Guadalmina won 9 : 3 against Los Arqueros 18th and 25th ofApril. Thus Guadalmina has won 6 of the 7 interclub matches of the winter / spring season. Next match will be October 2nd against El Paraiso.
The Guadalmina team was represented by Antonio Gil, Hans Kaiser, PaulHeaton, Joe Llewellyn, Herlov Langgard, Paco Guerrero, Jose Duarte, Eusebio Sierra, Peter Cullen, Pedro Irujo, Mats Liss-Daniels and Olaf Eie (capt).

The Wines D.O. Granad have shown their interest in colaborating with our Four Seasons next Sunday April 21st .
This iniciative promoted by our member Adela Richer is looking to incorportae a wine D.O. for each Tournament.

The prestigious annual match between Sotogrande and Guadalmina took place the 2nd and 13th of March. Again Guadalmina took home the victory winning 7: 5.
The picture shows the present and previous captains of Sotogrande, Bob Pinsent and John Prestwich respectively, together with Olaf Eie (Capt, Guadalmina) and Peter Cullen.
On the Guadalmina team were playing Lennart Wiberg, Juan Rueda, Herlov Langaard, Lars Torp, Paul Heaton, Joe Llewellyn, Kristian Bergland, Paco Guerrero, Sten Olsson, Jose Duarte, Miguel Gutierrez, Peter Cullen and Olaf Eie.
The appearance of the courses North and South respond to the type of grass that we have “Bermuda”, which turns brown with the low winter temperatures, and it will be greener again with wormer temperatures
Guadalmina beat San Roque for the 3rd year in a row.
The match was played 14th and 22nd of February under beautiful weather and course conditions.
The result was 5 : 1 home, and 2 : 4 away, which gave a total victory of 7 : 5.
Guadalmina has now won all the 3 first matches of the year 7: 5 !
On the Guadalmina team were playing Miguel Gutierrez, Hans Kaiser, Joe Llewellyn, Javier Perez de Leza, Paco Guerrero, John Mitchell, Jose Duarte, Antonio Gil, Kristian Bergland, Stig Durlow, Mats Liss Daniels and Olaf Eie (capt).

Last weekend at Real Club Pineda de Sevilla Laura Gómez won the Campeonato de Sevilla.
Laura had 73 shots the first day, out of them 37 putts, and an incredible 67 the second, for a total of 140 , twelve shots ahead the runner up Sara Navarro.
Her Father , Casto Gómez, said : she could have done an icredible score, as she managed to play almost every hole under regulation, but greens were like crystal.
It is not confirmed jet, but apparently 67 is course record , from blue at Real Club Pineda de Sevilla.
Congratulation Laura, and best luck to you and the rest of the Guadalmina team next weekend at Hacienda Riquelme in Murcia
