For the second year as from the 8th to the 11th of january is held in our Club the Andalusian Cup, qualifying for the world RANKING, the top 90 players between Spaniards and Europeans will compete among them, in the South Course.
The maximum handicap of this edition has been 0.4, and among the 90 players, 65 of them hold a plus handicap, featuring Mario Galiano and Ivan Cantero with their + 4.4 or Lauri Ruuska with + 4.3 which gives an idea of the high standards that exist in this competition.
The tournament is played over 72 holes of Stroke Play on four consecutive days, 18 holes each day. The last day only played the 50 top-ranked and matched in this position.
Adriá Arnaus from Cataluña part as a defender of the title, a condition that is won with his brilliant appearance in 2014 also at Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.
A final card of 66 shots, the best of the day, confirmed him as winner with 272 shots in total and a wide lead – ten shots – ahead of the second classified, Pablo Matesanz and Ivan Cantero.
The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is represented in this edition with eight players Haiko Dana, Casto Gómez, Ángel Hidalgo Telmo Azpiri, Félix Bolivar, Felipe Barrena, Calvin Greshner, and Antonio Cruz – Conde.
