We would like to inform you that past December 1st we signed the final contract for the installation of photovoltaic panels for our club.
This installation will represent a very important step forward in the quality in the supply of electrical energy, both in the Club contribution to improve the environment and in the reduction of the cost of consumption.
The contract has been awarded to the company QUANTUM ENERGIA VERDE S.L.U. , chosen after following our contracting policy and in this case, the choice was specially complex as we have received 7 offers from different companies.
As the result of this The Club have outsourced an independent professional, to filter all options and advise us which of them was the most convenient, this complete analysis have generated a delay in contracting.
The turnkey contract consists of two installations, one to be placed on top of the awnings of the main parking in front of the club and will generate 100.28 KWP at a cost of 72,893.00 € and the other will be placed on the roof of the buggy parking and will generate 47.96 KWP at a cost of 38,795.00 €, in both cases VAT must be added.
The execution period is about two months from having the administrative authorizations, which we estimate to have in January 23rd and the Contractor have committed that the facility will be fully operational before March 31st , 2023.
These facilities will be financed initially with own funds resources, and once finished, we will receive a 30% subsidy from European Next Generations Funds that will be received during 2024 and also as a support to this type of facilities, the City Council of Marbella, will compensate the IBI tax with a 25% reduction during five years, which will be also applicable from 2024.
