ANGEL HIDALGO WINS AGAIN

Chaparral Golf Club has hosted during today's the last day of the Championship Andalusia Sub25, in which our member Angel Hidalgo and Teresa Toscano Huelvawon in a thrilling finish, especially in women's category, where the Federated by the Monacilla has won the victory after no less than 11 holes of a playoff contest.

With a total of 208 hits, the player of the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, Angel Hidalgo, has proclaimed champion of Andalusia Sub-25, so adding this title of champion of Spain all, achieved on June 26 in El Saler (Valencia).

Angel has had three strokes advantage over land by Isla Canela Golf, Juan Agüera, who has been an excellent tournament and picked up the award as champion of Andalusia U18. Thus, Calvin John Greschner (follow-Sotogrande) has been runner-up in Andalusia Sub 25 with 214 hits.

The Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, The eldest  Golf club on the costa del Sol, is again at the forefront of management, by signing a sponsorship deal with the company VYPSA, VOLVO automovil dealersh, of recent implementation in the province of Malaga, with exhibition and sale in Capital Malaga and Marbella.


Last July was formalized the agreement between the two companies, which will link them over the next three years,

MORE CHAMPIONS FOR GUADALMINA

Evelina Stanikova and Alvaro Mueller-Baumgart Andalusia Sub-14 champions

Evelina Stanikova and Alvaro Mueller-Baumgart proclaimed champions of Andalusia children's feminine and masculine respectively in the championship held in Lauro Golf this weekend passed the 9-10 of July 2016.

Impressive, Evelina began the tournament with a quintuple bogey at the first hole and ends it 35 holes later still 5 shots over the course par. Congratulations!

And Alvaro: leader with 1 shot advantage after the first day and 12 players to 3 strokes or less, resists pressure and also to get the best result in the second round - 73 to win the Championship with 4 hits of difference. Well done!

Great also for our club, Rebecca Fernandez Robles, runner-up alevin feminine and Marc Waller Torras who missed the play-off's male alevines staying in a well deserved 3rd position.

Spanish Ladies Professional Championship

Natalia Escuriola reissued the triumph achieved in the 2015 Edition, the Sevillian Marta Prieto ws the last plalyer to achieve that ten  years ago.


. The difference with respect to second place, five strokes, the second largest in history, highlights the uncontested domain of Natalia Escuriola


Big, with a performance just stratospheric, much stronger that could imagine it at first sight, literally bursting the South course and her fellow resistance, the Castellon Natalia Escuriola has won the title of the Santander, Spain Championship of female professionals, re-edited in the RCG Guadalmina triumph achieved also by 2015.

"I am very happy, it's the reward to the lot of work I do. I've dominated from start to finish, although not what expected me. That nobody should thin that it was easy!"the winner claiming to just finish his party.

And from behind, Noemí Jiménez, Núria Iturrios, Laura Cabanillas María Beautell, Marta Martín - sensational amateur theirs-... a diverse group that contributed to that the tournament was a success even though none of them was able to avoid the devastating effect of the Castellon game would generate the focus will focus on a star: Natalia Escuriola, champion of Spain professional big.

Ángel Hidalgo Portillo Spain`s ABSOLUTE Champion

Great performance from our Member Angel Hidalgo in the men's Championship of Spain Individual 2016, which finished today in the Valencian course of El Saler.

Angel has proclaimed champion with a total of 292 shots and after leading the competition from the first day, during the first two days accompanied by his friend and colleague, Gonzalo García (Real Club de Golf El Candado) and then alone.

 

During this final day, the Cantabrian Manuel Elvira put things difficult until the last putt, but the leader always kept steady.

Ángel Hidalgo started the last day with a lead of four strokes over Manuel Elvira, but player from Cantabria reduced the differecne of strokes with birdies, he managed to play minus 4, combined with what was doing behind Hidalgo,lef to Hidalgo with only one shot of advantage.

 

The situation returned to the initial place with a double bogey by Manuel Elvira on the 16 th hole . That was the crucial moment of the Championship , since he returned the lead to Ángel, who, since that moment did not leave it again.

With his last putt of meter and a half in the 18th, the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina player certified his most important triumph.

Finally, Angel Hidalgo has won with 292 hits (70 + 74 + 74 + 74), one less than Manuel Elvira and two less than the Basques Javier Sainz and Borja Martín.

Note the performance of the also Members of our Club Antonio Cruz - Conde Rodriguez - Guerra ended the 14th, Felipe Barrena Rodríguez 34th and Casto Gomez in the 50th position.

Ladies Circuit Final 2016

The team formed by Ana Mena (Guadalhorce Club de Golf), Mª Luisa Arts (Club de Golf Bellavista), María Murillo (Real Club de Golf El Candado) and Ana Isabel Irimia (Real Club de Golf de Sevilla) won in the final of the women's circuit of Andalusia 2016, which was played at the Real Club de Golf Guadalmina in two days form stroke play handicap, playing 18 holes every day.
